COME HAVE A GOOD TIME ON LAKE MARTIN

Throughout the course of the year, company-organized events attract thousands to the Lake Martin area. The AMP’s family-oriented, feet-in-the-cool-grass atmosphere is the ideal setting for a variety of entertainment opportunities.

The venue’s many events include Labor Day concerts, Alex City Jazz Fest and the amazing Fourth of July Fireworks Blast.

There's a lot to do at Lake Martin during the summertime. Check out what's happening at The AMP and around the lake.

HISTORY

Ben Russell, Chairman and CEO of Russell Lands, Inc., founded the Lake Martin Amphitheater. His vision, inspired by his love for the arts and the beautiful scenery of the Kowaliga Basin, guided the efforts of Russell Lands, Inc. in constructing the amphitheater in 1998.

His purpose was simple; construct a facility overlooking one of the most beautiful areas of the lake, and donate its use to the lake community to promote and provide for artistic and cultural enjoyment.

The Lake Martin Arts Council (LMAC), a non-profit organization made up of interested area citizens, governs all amphitheater activities. The Lake Martin Amphitheater is a not-for-profit venue.
